Review | Caudalie Vinoperfect: Serum + night cream + essence

Brightening Dark Spot Serum
The Anti-Dark Spot Serum from Caudalie claims to correct dark spots, prevent their appearance, and provide luminosity to the skin. It is recommended to use it morning and night before your usual cream.
Brightening Glycolic Night Cream
Caudalie claims that it corrects dark spots and acts as a gentle peel overnight to reveal fresh and luminous skin in the morning.
Brightening Glycolic Essence
The essence is the first step in fighting dark spots. It prepares the skin and maximizes the action of the serum.

On the Caudalie website, you can often find different GIFT SETS. I wanted to try the dark spot serum, and since the pack was priced the same as the serum alone, I opted for this option. The serum was in regular size, but both the cream and essence were in travel size. However, it hasn’t been a problem when trying them out; they lasted me quite a while (two months). I wanted to wait this time before giving an opinion on the effectiveness of these products.
Does it work or not?
After two months of using the products consistently, morning and night, I have to say that… Yes! I have finally found a product that works and reduces dark spots. I have tried several brands (Bella Aurora, Garnier…) and none of them had any effect until now. The dark spots are fading and gradually disappearing, or they change to a rosy tone. I still think I need to continue using the product to make them disappear completely, but it’s much more than what other products have done for my face.
Of course, I am avoiding sun exposure on my face and applying sunscreen. And, truly, it’s amazing when I apply makeup. I’ve noticed that with very little product (L’oreal foundation) or just using concealer (Maybelline), my skin looks more beautiful, natural, and with a unified tone. Before, I had to apply a lot of makeup to cover the spots, and just using concealer wasn’t enough, so… I’m thrilled with the results!
