Road trip through Spain – Southern route
It is always a good time to visit Spain, due to the good temperatures and the large number of hours of sunshine. However, I would recommend you to avoid August; not only because of the high temperatures, but also because of the high prices and the large number of visitors.
If you are organizing your next trip around the country, I share with you a suggestion to get to know the south of Spain: a road route from Malaga.
Road trip – Step 1 | Rent a camper
There are many options. Here are some examples. In yescapa you rent to individuals and it works like an airbnb for cars. You also have the option of camperdays; a German company that operates in Spain. And Autocaravanas Piqueras, a Spanish company specialized in offering this service.
Road trip – Step 2 | Southern Route
Discover the south of Spain by touring the area called Andalusia. In Cadiz you can visit its beaches, eat fried fish, practice water sports in Tarifa and watch the sunsets from a privileged corner: the ruins of Baelo Claudia. Parking area for your camper. Second stop? Visit Huelva! You can visit the Doñana National Park or go horseback riding on the beach. Parking area for your camper.
Have you been to Sevilla? Visit the Torre del Oro and La Giralda, stroll through Maria Luisa Park and appreciate the artistry of the famous Gypsy dance, visit this museum. Parking area for your camper.
What will be your next stop?
Organize your own trip with the help of this website where you can locate the different spots available to park your camper. I am sure you will fall in love with Andalusia.
